For the combined air and water temperature we will use the following sites:

Weather.com, zip code 19130 and for the water temperature the USGS site on boathouse row—make

sure it’s the Philadelphia site and not Norristown

When the Philadelphia River Cast comes back on line March 15 th it will have the water quality

information which is important when deciding whether or not it’s safe to come into contact with the

river. Note at present the site al has the water temperature and flow rate obtained from the usgs site at

boathouse row. This site is not available in the winter for water quality but does have temperature and

flow rate.

This site gives the predicted flow and river height on the Schuylkill in Philadelphia.
